The Lexington Medical Center Foundation Healthcare Scholarships and the Partners Program reflect the importance we place on investing in our community through educational opportunities that will equip our healthcare workforce to deliver the highest quality care to our patients and inspire the next generation of healthcare professionals.
The Partners Program is a fun and intensive three-week summer internship program open to all rising Juniors and Seniors from Lexington County school districts, including home school students. Participants complete three rotations through a variety of clinical areas, learning about various careers in healthcare including professional and allied health careers such as radiology, surgical tech, physical therapy, nursing, physician, and administration roles. The application deadline is February 24, 2020. Applicants will be notified by March 9, 2020 the status of their application. Due to the high volume of applicants, not all that apply will be selected to interview. Notifications will be sent by email.
The Lexington Medical Center Foundation Healthcare Scholarships program provides one-year, competitive scholarships to students working toward undergraduate and graduate level Nursing degrees, including online, associates, bachelors and masters degree programs and Allied Health degrees such as physical therapy, radiology and surgical technician. The application will open in February 2020 for the 2020-2021 academic year awards. Applicants must meet minimum program criteria. Due to the high volume of applicants, not all that apply will be selected to interview. Notifications will be sent by email.
